Online Enrollment with SmartPlan & Ameritas
Saving for retirement is something you can’t afford to overlook. To help you get enrolled, we have outlined some of the things you will experience with your interactive enrollment tool from SmartPlan.

Enrollment
Before you get started on your SmartPlan journey, you may want to gather the following information:

• Current annual income.
• Number of years you plan to work before retirement.
• Additional assets such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, IRAs, etc.
• How many years you expect to live in retirement.

Follow these few simple steps to start your journey:
1. Go to Ameritas.Com and click the “Sign In” button in the upper right corner.
2. Click "Plan Participant Sign In"
2. Click "Register" to set up your online account. You’ll need your certificate number, which you can obtain from your welcome letter, your employer or by calling Participant Services at 1-800-277-9739.
3. Once you’ve set up your account, enter your User ID and Password.
4. Click View Account.
5. Click on the “Smart Plan” button to get started.

John and Arlene, your video hosts, will walk you through all the keys points you need to know about your plan. Some of the key points they will explain are:

• When you are eligible to join the plan.
• How much you can contribute.
• What is vesting and how you earn it.
